IΓ’β¬β’ve lived I Juneau for 7 years and have never been to the Hanger, what the heck! Went with a dear friend this afternoon and had the most amazing culinary experience. Shannon, our waitress, was spectacular. IΓ’β¬β’ll be recommending this restaurant to all.

Soup is hot, beer nice and cold. Great selection, easygoing staff, lots of seating, great view. Nice to see the action in the kitchen. Bar menu and regular menu. Good specials. Always parking. Historical building.

Got spaghetti for the kids. Would have been nice to have most than a half a scoop of sauce for a full plate of noodles. Eating this would be just noodles and no sauce. Will not be returning.

Pricey And GOOD! The halibut tacos were really good..no frozen fish here. Beer was great. Lunch was very expensive but worth it after the long flight. Alaskan amber is a good drinkable beer to enjoy with it!!

I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. Wow, what a fantastic dinner and introduction to fresh, Alaskan seafood. Honestly, I was served the best Fish n Chips I've ever had, hands down. My son had some incredible, sweet and creamy oysters on the half shell, and coconut shrimp which was crispy and delicious. My other son who is not a seafood fan, enjoyed a grass fed, organic burger, every last bite. It can be a little busy with 5 cruise ships in port in this tiny town of Juneau, Alaska's capitol city, but the staff work together like a well oiled machine and to ensure your meal is timely, hot, fresh and delicious.

The staff was great and the food was good as well. I have eaten here many times and this time management did a great job on improving the staff and servers. In the past it wasn't as good.

Really great ... primarily the view, thus the 5 stars. The burger was thin but good. The crab cakes were excellent. I do recommend as the fish and chips looked delish too. Fresh and reasonable, super friendly staff.

Without exception, the best halibut chowder, for that matter any chowder, we've ever had anywhere in the world. No exaggeration. Service was great. View of the water and ships accentuated a wonderful family dining experience.

Appears as just another cruise ship shakedown restaurant but our experience was way better. Lovely fresh fish and views. Plenty of gluten free options. Fast service. Views. Good for children. Has highchairs.

This place continuously slides to being more mediocre over time. Pretty average food, often not that hot. Service is lack luster. I know they can do better, because they used to. What happened to the tempora rock fish? They've never been able to do good fries, which is weird. And they use some strange chemical flavored whip cream on desserts. That said, it's a good location. And you know what you'll get out of the place.

The first place we stopped when arriving in Juneau. Recommended by everyone at the airport. The Hanger did not disappoint. The food was great and you have excellent views of the wharf and seaplanes landing and docking next door.
